What will you be doing?
Subsea7’s offshore operations in the global energy sector span over five decades, successfully completing 1000+ projects.
Our Pipeline Group has a presence in multiple locations around the world, and our technical expertise allows us to deliver pipelay projects regardless of the geographical location.
Supporting the delivery of these projects is our global warehousing and distribution facility in Clydebank, Glasgow, which is now seeking an Equipment Co-ordinator.
The role is responsible for the co-ordination, control and movement of equipment, spares and consumables within UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:
- Creation and ongoing management of equipment records on our Equipment Management System (EMS) and related databases
- Update material and equipment Master Data in SAP S4 Hana to ensure critical data is efficiently maintained.
- Process project equipment hire requests for all sites and vessels to ensure accurate and timely project hire charging and revenue recovery across a projects lifecycle.
- Maintain equipment location tracking within the EMS, ensuring the accuracy of PG Production equipment our tracking of and maintain movements records are kept up to date.
- Liaise with the Logistics Department within Subsea7 to ensure that PG Production is compliant with import/export legislation for any equipment movements to and from sites or vessels.
- Process equipment movement forms and monitor manifests to provide accurate equipment location summary
- Control and monitor equipment maintenance and calibration records on the EMS.
- Process and arrange external calibrations / repairs by external vendors
- Oversee equipment and spares stock system across all operational sites and vessels to ensure accurate recording of equipment spares and project consumables.
- Maintain records for lifting equipment and arrange inspection or testing as required.
- Review EMS data and identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements to procedures.
- Administer the equipment obsolescence control process ensuring we follow the company’s equipment management financial control procedures.
- Contribute to development of systems/procedures and improvement programmes.
- Participate in equipment and material stock audits as required
- Attend and make effective contribution to progress meetings.
- Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager or Head of Department.

• Practical experience in the coordination, control and movement of equipment within UK and overseas.
• Practical experience with MRP processes and procedures and proficient in MS Office products.
