Title:  Senior Fabricator

What will you be doing?

  • Perform TIG, MIG, and aluminium welding to fabricate and assemble metal structures and components.
  • Operate plasma cutting equipment to precisely cut metal materials according to specifications.
  • Use burning gear to shape and prepare metal surfaces for fabrication.
  • Utilize power tools and grinders to cut, shape, and finish metal parts, ensuring smooth and accurate results.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Experience in TIG welding, MIG welding, and the welding of aluminium materials.

  • Skilled in using power tools (e.g., drills, saws) and grinders for metal fabrication and finishing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Thorough attention to precision and a steadfast commitment to quality products.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and prolonged standing.
  • Relevant certifications in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) are a plus.
