Title: Engineering Digitalization & Process Innovation Manager

What will you be doing?
As GoM Engineering Digitalization and Process Innovation Manager, you will leverage your expertise in processes improvement and leadership skills to drive innovation and continuous improvement across our organization. The GoM Engineering Digitalization and Process Innovation Manager is responsible for interfacing with the business to understand the process improvements opportunities and for developing the discipline in line with the business needs, ensuring technical competence and awareness of latest technologies.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplines to review end-to-end user journey and identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks that could be tackled with digital solutions
- Leverage team expertise and business knowledge to define fit-for-purpose solution architecture, maintaining awareness of other regions developments and corporate digital programs to maximize synergies and avoid effort duplication
- Mentor team as required throughout the solution development and ensure that all solutions are quality driven, in accordance with acknowledge industry standards and business policies.
- Facilitate regular meetings and workshops with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs, share progress and gather feedback
- Support solution adoption. Monitor key metrics and performances indicators to evaluate solution impact and iterate based on results.
- Prioritize and organize team work to ensure solutions are developed within budget and schedule, team expertise is maximized and workload adequately shared
- Agree and monitor performance objectives with direct reports, identifying areas for improvements to the Disciplines organization, tools, processes, and people.
- Actively engage in Knowledge Management and awareness of latest technologies
- Promote personal CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
- Establish and maintain a positive and pro-active working environment that encourages teamwork, a spirit of openness, honestly and integrity, thereby attracting, retaining, and motivating a skilled workforce
- Identify future resource requirements.

What experience would we like you to have?
- Professional qualifications – Degree qualified in (Demonstrable experience in a similar role will also be considered)
- 5+ years of experience with the business
- Experience in business improvement processes and effective stakeholder management
- Knowledge of project management initiatives, tools, and processes
- Ability to lead a team across multiple projects
- Ability to manage cross-disciplines interfaces and focus on end user needs
- Ability to mentor and coach developers and support their professional development
- Ability to prioritize own and other’s workload, manage time and changes
- Able to show initiative and critical thinking
- Able to work within time / budget constraints
- Understanding of Python and Mircosoft365 capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated and organized.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Majority of the work is carried out in the local office site in Houston, Texas.
- Required to travel as needed to support Merida, MX office.
- Requirement for occasional travel to Clients or other Company offices or sites.
- Working hours according to local regulations and Company's policy.
