Plan, direct, or coordinate payroll and benefits activities for Gulf of Mexico region. 2 direct reports.

Benefits:
- Design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive, and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Administer, direct, and review employee benefit programs, including the integration of benefit programs following mergers and acquisitions.
- Fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations, including the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
- Direct preparation and distribution of written and verbal information to inform employees of benefits and payroll policies.
- Stay current with legislation changes and industry trends.
- Identify and implement benefits to increase the quality of life for employees by working with brokers and researching benefits issues.
- Mediate between benefits providers and employees, such as by assisting in handling employees' benefits-related questions or taking suggestions.
- Review/process all qualifying event changes to ensure compliance.
- Annual Open Enrollment Process to include development of benefit brochure, communication to employees and Open Enrollment Presentations
- Handle benefit inquiries from employees.
- Process all benefit invoices to include Aetna, BCBS dental, VSP, Hartford, Trustmark and WEX
- Initiate benefit platform set up change, when health and welfare vendor changes, i.e. Next Level PRIME/Modern Health set up, EDI etc.
Additional Requirements
Payroll:
- Main Subsea7 contact to initiate ADP changes (i.e. new 60-63 catch up rule for 2025)
- Bi-Weekly Payroll submittal review/sign off.
- Bi-Weekly submittal of flex spending contributions to WEX.
- Bi-Weekly submittal of Trustmark contributions.
- Annual upload of new employee contribution due to Open Enrollment Election.
- Annual required W-2 health insurance premium reporting.
- Set up and research new state unemployment tax and state tax
Additional Requirements
EXPATs/INPATs:
- Calculate and submit shadow payroll for INPATs/EXPATs
- Tracking and coordinating John Allis tax service for annual 1040 filing and set up tax meets for new arriving INPATs.
Health and Welfare Benefit Reporting:

- FMLA/STD Administration and monitoring
- 401(k) audit, which includes separate spreadsheet completion for both Xodus and Subsea7. Auditors review payroll census and contribution submittal to include checking date contributions were withheld/submitted as well as checking match calculations. Auditors also select employee samples and review contribution election, changes and match calculation.
- Banking change set up with health and welfare vendors, as well as ADP
- 401(k) plan merger to Subsea7 plan for new acquisition, plus required plan amendments and notifications
- Oversite and administration of Annual incentive bonus and salary review process.
