POSITION: Pre-Commissioning Equipment Superintendent

WORKSITE: 17220 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77094

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for the strategic selection, operation, and assurance of pre-commissioning equipment used in offshore subsea projects; ensuring that all equipment is selected and managed to optimize operational performance , maximize safety and availability, and minimize cost, in full compliance with internal and international standards; exercises technical authority for the management, operations, maintenance, upgrades, and modifications of the equipment selected for pre-commissioning operations; establishes and adheres to the annual equipment OPEX and CAPEX budget with Stakeholders; actively participates in pre-comm equipment quality audits; actively participates in the specification, design and management of new equipment building, major modification and major overhauls; supervises third party contractors, ensuring their compliance with internal project requirements; supporting the management and development of technical supervisors to ensure competence in the operation and maintenance of pre-comm equipment; providing technical support to projects and other departments as required; manages and reviews sub-contracts;  and participates in relevant global / regional initiatives as and when required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, marine, electrical, or structural engineering or closely related and a minimum of seven years offshore technical experience in subsea intervention systems, mobile offshore equipment, and planned maintenance systems; and two years in a supervisory capacity over teams and equipment.

ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS: In lieu of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, marine, electrical, or structural engineering or closely related and a minimum of seven years offshore technical experience in subsea intervention systems, mobile offshore equipment, and planned maintenance systems; and two years in a supervisory capacity over teams and equipment. Will accept ten years ‘experience in the above with two years’ in supervisory capacity over teams and equipment.
