We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electronic/Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team at our Offshore Delivery workshop located in Houston, TX. This is a shore-based position offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge equipment in a collaborative and safety-focused environment.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Ensure all equipment and systems are fully operational and meet technical standards.
  • Apply logical fault-finding techniques during breakdowns and troubleshooting.
  • Perform maintenance checks in line with task plans and work instructions.
  • Develop new task plans/work instructions where gaps exist.
  • Assist in identifying and ordering appropriate spare parts to support maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, reports, and logs using Workshop Request software and SAP.
  • Collaborate with other workshop disciplines and liaise with internal/external clients as needed.
  • Participate in planned maintenance activities for electronic department equipment.
  • Provide technical data to the administration team to support SAP equipment updates.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment, reporting incidents via Synergi.
  • Keep the Electronic Team Lead informed on job progress and issues.

 

What experience would we like you to have?

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electronic/electrical systems maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of ROV/Survey subsea electronic equipment.
  • Hands-on experience with ROV control systems, hardware and software.
  • Extensive background in electronic systems across a wide range of equipment.
  • Solid understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general PC literacy.
  • Advanced fault-finding skills at the component level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a flexible and positive attitude.
