We are seeking a skilled and motivated Offshore Personnel Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Houston, TX. This shore-based role offers a hybrid schedule and is responsible for coordinating the mobilization and demobilization of offshore personnel, managing travel logistics, and executing all offshore personnel logistics activities for assigned vessels and worksites. The position works closely with internal teams to support efficient crew movements while upholding Subsea 7’s standards for safety, ethics, and integrity.

 

What will you be doing?

Personnel Mobilization & Logistics

  • Ensure assigned vessels/worksites are manned with qualified, certified, and medically fit offshore workers in compliance with national, international, and company-specific requirements
  • Coordinate travel logistics with external travel agencies, ensuring personnel receive accurate itineraries and required documentation (e.g., visas, work permits, inoculations) in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate mobilization/demobilization schedules, reflecting actual travel and offshore dates for payroll, cost recharge, and tax calculations
  • Respond to offshore personnel queries and provide general administrative support to the Crewing Team
  • Review and verify third-party invoices and expense claims
  • Participate in department on-call duty rotations, including coverage after core business hours, holidays and weekends
  • Provide absence coverage for other Crewing Coordinators
  • Assist with new hire inductions

 

What experience would we like you to have?

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in roles such as: Logistics Planner in offshore, marine, or energy sectors / Scheduler managing crew rotations or field deployments / Mobility Specialist handling international travel, visas, and compliance for field personnel or equivalent positions.
  • Prior experience with offshore oil and gas operations, including international personnel mobilization processes preferred
  • Working knowledge of competencies and training requirements for offshore roles
  • Demonstrates strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload
  • Strong administrative background and experience
  • A team player with a flexible approach and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage personnel at all levels
  • Proficient in IT applications including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
  • Ability to work extended hours occasionally to support operational demands
