SUBSEA FLOWLINE PRE-COMMISIONING TECHNICIAN

Description

Preparation of equipment prior to offshore execution:

• Carry out pre-mobilisation inventory and certification check for required work scope

• Carry out pre-mobilisation equipment checks and assist with FATs, SITs and Client Verifications

• Assist with the packing and shipping of all equipment offshore worksite, including verifying all equipment load out lists

• Perform outstanding maintenance activities and project specific equipment set ups as per direction from Supervisor and /or Engineering team.

Offshore Execution

• Report to Subsea Pre-Commissioning Supervisor and the Subsea Pre-Commissioning Engineer

• Follow operational procedures at all times

• Maintain daily operational reports, equipment maintenance reports and generate TRAs and TBTs for all tasks

• Perform daily functional and planned maintenance tasks on all equipment

• Carry out fault-finding and repair of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

• Perform pre- and post-operational equipment checks, including recorded pressure integrity checks up to 20ksi

• Carry out work scopes for subsea and umbilical pre-commissioning operations which may include ROV equipment integration, hydrostatic testing, electrical testing, fiber optic testing, chemical filling/flushing, software operation and troubleshooting.

Description

Experience:

•Preferred 2+ years of experience with subsea operations including pressure testing operations and familiarity with ROV systems (electrical, optical, hydraulic)

•Knowledge of hydrostatic testing at pressures of up to 20,000psi

•Experience with electrical systems (power, comms, software) and associated test equipment such as Insulation Resistance Meters, TDRs and OTDRs

•Fluid particle analysis experience including particle counting with the use of a binocular microscope a plus.

•Umbilical experience will also be advantageous but not a requirement as training will be given

•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
