Title: Senior Quality Advisor

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Quality Advisor to join our Kuala Lumpur office on either a permanent or contractor basis.
The Senior Quality Advisor provides guidance and advice in regard to the effective management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), delivering quality management and improvement support to all projects and Functions within the designated area of responsibility.
They will provide support to the relevant Quality Manager and his/her team in the maintenance and control of processes, procedures, work methods and initiatives in support of the Company's overall Quality strategies
What will you be doing?
- Focal point for QA/QC matters, providing a support function to project management, ensuring that they have adequate resources and QA/QC input.
- The Quality Advisor ensures the implementation/compliance and alignment of all quality programs, policies, processes, and procedures within Subsea 7.
- Demonstrated thorough understanding of risk-based audit process and responsible of audit execution (both internal and external).
- Managing non-conformities, facilitate the root-cause analysis corrective actions (RCCA) process, and ensure effective implementation of solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Work in conjunction with Supply Chain Management, Engineering and Operation to assess, manage and develop suppliers’ quality aspects, ensuring that quality requirements are well defined and understood by suppliers.
- Assess Subcontractors and Vendors capability to meet the Quality requirements of the Project.
- Surveillance management for intervention at vendor/supplier premises.
- Appraises product quality in accordance with the Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, Technical Specifications, Drawings and Quality Plans.
- Review of Manufacturing Data book after completion of purchase order.
- Ontime submission of deliverables (such as IFSR, IR, IRNs and IDRs) to the Client.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports as per project requirements.
- Identify non-quality trends and advise Project Quality Manager for resolution.
- Establish effective corrective, corrective action/preventive action plan to ensure that deficiencies do not recur.
- Assist with the development and implementation of Continuous Improvements of the Quality Management System.
- Responsible for the co-ordination, preparation and delivery of Project Quality Plans and will provide support and input to tendering process as directed.
- Utilize the knowledge management tools to assist Quality to capitalize from Lessons Learned and to perform in accordance with best practices, striving to mitigate risk, promoting repeatability, safety and integrity consistently.
- Drive and provide quality awareness within projects and suppliers (Workshops, Talking Points, training, etc.).
- Support and promote our commitments to Safety and the Importance of Quality in influencing success of our Safety commitments.
- Develop and mentor resources to meet business needs.
- Experience of the subsea, offshore or a related industry.
- Broad depth of Quality Management knowledge.
- Good level of general education required, preferably supported by a diploma/degree in Engineering/Quality Management.
- Broad understanding of Subsea products and operations.
- Technical quality experience/capability.
- Certified lead auditor qualification.
- Good understanding of supply chain management principles.
- Willing to travel both domestically/internationally onshore/offshore up to 50 % of the time.
- Madarin language capability is desirable.
