Title:  Analysis/Calculation Engineer

What will you be doing?

The Role: We are looking to recruit Engineers with solid knowledge in all/some of the following domains: Stress Analysis, Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) – Use of Software such as ANSYS, ABAQUS, CESAR II, Piping Design and Stress Analysis, Pressure Vessel Calculations and/or Programming (Python, VBA).

The successful candidate will join the design and analysis team in Lisbon and will be part of the rigid pipelines design team. The team is responsible for performing calculations and analyses related to subsea pipeline covering all project phases from tendering stage to execution stage.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Majority of the work is carried out at Subsea 7 Lisbon Office, within a flexible work environment.
  • Punctual international travels (meetings, visits to suppliers, equipment testing, etc.)

 

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or others related.
  • Experience/Background doing analytical calculations and finite element analyses in industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Civil Construction, Materials, etc.
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience in the referred type of domains.
  • Strong interest to perform calculation and analysis.
  • Keen to embrace a career in the Energy business.
  • Capable of reporting own work comprehensively.
  • Problem solver mindset with critical eyes for the details.
  • Excellent ability to work within a multi-disciplined and multicultural team.
  • Solid skills of English are required (comprehension and communication).
