Title:  Lead Installation Engineer

What will you be doing?

You will have a key role in the full project life cycle. Prepare the scope of work and then support the offshore team during the operations. Ensure the interfaces with the Client, suppliers, offshore crew and the design team.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Manage and lead a team of engineers and a package;
  • Manage all external (clients, suppliers) and internal (other disciplines, installation, manufacturing, purchase) interfaces;
  • Prepare documents and preliminary studies related to tenders, FEEDs and projects developed by the Group;
  • You are autonomous and supervise the engineering activities related to the preparation and Offshore installation of the products;
  • You will plan, prepare and confirm specific procedures (validation test on site, transportation and installation) and associated calculation notes (e.g. rigging design) by defining priorities;
  • You will participate to vessel mobilization as well as installation phases on vessel to validate technical solutions by respecting the rules of the Group HSSEQ;
  • You ensure that your activities are conducted in compliance with the Project standards in terms of Quality, Cost & Time;
  • You are the technical owner and ensure choice of contractors and supervise subcontracted studies;
  • You validate concepts and manage changes accounting for HSSEQ criteria;
  • You validate developments and propose appropriate improvements, considering the group’s HSSEQ standards

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Graduated with a M.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical, Ocean, Civil, Offshore) with relevant work experience in the energy business;
  • Experience in SURF, Conventional or Renewable Installation Engineering Scopes (at least 5 years);
  • You have experience of Site (yards) and Offshore Operations;
  • Strong communication skills and keen interest to work with other disciplines/departments;
  • Experience in leading teams is a plus;
  • Problem solver mindset with critical eyes for the details;
  • Excellent ability to work within a multi-disciplined and multicultural team;
  • Solid skills of English are required (comprehension and communication);

Working Conditions

2- Offshore/Off-site travel during project execution phase is required
