Title:  Mechanical/Structural CAD Drafter

What will you be doing?

Within the Global Project Centre – Lisbon Hub, the Mechanical/Structural CAD Drafter is co-responsible to apply advanced techniques to produce complex drawings and sketches consistent with good engineering practice and in compliance with company drawing office procedures. 
 
Specific Key Responsibilities & Activities 

  • Provide CAD skills and knowledge both 2D and where appropriate 3D. 
  • Interface with CAD Lead ensuring CAD deliverable schedule is being met and budget is on track.  
  • Interface with other disciplines, when instructed by CAD Lead, to obtain input for designs and drawings, identify and contribute to find solutions. 
  • Assist Fabrication as required in the resolution of construction difficulties relating to design problems, clashes, etc. 
  • Actively participate in relevant training and development to pursue continuing professional development.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • B.Sc. in Engineering or Technical education related to mechanical or structural engineering. 
  • Above 5 years of experience in steel structures and/or mechanical design (background in offshore business is a plus but not mandatory). 
  • Keen interest to pursue a career in mechanical/structural drafting. 
  • Interest to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team. 
  • Knowledge in Autodesk AutoCAD, Vault & Inventor software, and MS Office. 
  • Sound communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
