Title:  Mechanical/Structural CAD Drafter

As part of the Global Project Centre – Lisbon Hub, this role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mechanical/Structural CAD Drafter to contribute to complex mechanical and structural design projects. The ideal candidate will bring technical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset as a member of the engineering team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality design solutions in an evolving, multicultural environment.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Provide CAD skills and knowledge both in 2D and 3D.
  • Interface with CAD Lead ensuring CAD deliverable schedule is being met and budget is on track.
  • Interface with other disciplines, when instructed by CAD Lead, to obtain input for designs and drawings, identify and contribute to finding solutions.
  • Assist Fabrication as required in the resolution of construction difficulties relating to design problems, clashes, etc.
  • Engage in appropriate training and development opportunities to support ongoing professional growth.

 

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Engineering Degree or Technical education related to mechanical or structural engineering.
  • Above 2 years of experience in steel structures and/or mechanical design (background in offshore business is a plus but not mandatory).
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career in mechanical/structural design.
  • Interest in working in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience with CAD tools (3D/2D), Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault.
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Sound communication skills in English, both verbally and written.
