Engineering Internship - Sutton

Are you an engineering student eager to apply your academic knowledge in a real-world environment?

Subsea7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services, are offering an exceptional 1-year placement opportunity for engineering based in our Sutton – London office.

This paid placement sits within our Design & Analysis functions of Structural Engineering, Piping, Valves & Connectors, RIAU (Riser, Installation, Analysis and Umbilical) and Rigid Pipelines. We have positions that will challenge and develop your engineering skills.

 

 

Opportunities Available:

 

Design & Analysis (D&A): Gain in-depth knowledge within your assigned discipline and learn how the Engineering function contributes to Global Project Delivery. You will have the opportunity to use analysis software like Abaqus, Isight, Orcaflex, Mathcad, Ansys, develop CAD and basic programming skills.

 

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Gaining hands-on experience in the offshore energy sector, working on projects that span all water depths across all energy hubs
  • The opportunity to work alongside our multi-disciplinary engineering teams, gaining insight into our cutting-edge engineering solutions
  • A chance to develop both your technical and non-technical skills through real-world applications
  • Networking opportunities with experts in the field, providing invaluable insights into your future career
  • Exposure to design engineering and how that fits into project delivery across the business

 

Who Should Apply:

 

  • Students currently in their 2nd year of a bachelor’s degree or 3rd year of a Master’s Engineering degree
