Title: PLM Teamcenter Coodinator
London (Sutton), GB
We are looking for a PLM Teamcenter Coordinator to join our team on a staff or contract basis. This role is open to applicants that can work from our Aberdeen or London.
Subsea7 is developing a number of Engineering digitalisation initiatives that will bring significant long-term value and benefits to the company. These improvements will be realised through changing and optimising the technical delivery of our Projects with the application of new systems and tools. One of these key initiatives is the implementation of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Tool to support the technical delivery of our projects. Subsea7 has been working in conjunction with a class leading PLM system provider to develop a PLM system suitable for Subsea7’s needs.
The purpose of the Teamcenter Focal Point is to support and guide the deployment onto new projects and to be a point of contact for issues and support, whilst being the liaison between the project teams and the PLM team.
What will you be doing?
- Guide the onboarding of Teamcenter onto new projects, ensuring the onboarding process is used and followed correctly
- Ensure feedback from the onboarding process is fed to the PLM team
- Provide support to new project teams and regional Focal Points and act as the liaison between the project teams and the PLM team
- Ensure Risks & Issues from project roll outs are raised and created in DevOps
- Ensure that Suggestions for Improvements form projects using Teamcenter are raised in DevOps
- Ensure that the training is scheduled as required for each project and that each user follows the correct training path
- Ability to translate and articulate business ways of working to Teamcenter ways of working
- Provide Teamcenter technical expertise to project teams
- Deliver demos of the current ways of working to new project teams
- Act as an advocate of Teamcenter, promoting its use and adoption onto new projects.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure that Teamcenter is successfully deployed onto new projects, provide support as required to the project teams and any regional focal points
- Be an advocate for Teamcenter
- Provide Teamcenter knowledge to project teams
- Support the Lead Focal Point on engagement with new projects and regions
What experience would we like you to have?

- Experience of working in the Oil & Gas industry
- Experience of using Teamcenter (ideally in a large organisation(> 500 + users)
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
- Good listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
- Business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
