Title:  Senior Project Cost Controller

Location:

What will you be doing?

  • Develop effective interfaces with project teams.
  • Provide support to all aspects of cost control of assigned projects including forecasting and commitment tracking of man hours, procurement activities and vessel operations.
  • Perform a business-partnering role, providing project managers with advice and support in managing cost and finance aspects of their projects.
  • Work with project managers to prepare monthly financial forecasts and sensitivity analysis for assigned projects.
  • Complete all required month end processes and reports for assigned projects by ensuring that SAP accurately reflects project costs and revenues to date, including any accruals or prepayments.
  • Analyse variances from as-bid financials by building a detailed monthly analysis of variances from prior forecast.
  • Attend project / client meetings and provide relevant financial input and reports as required.
  • Prepare and issue all project invoices.
  • Prepare project cash flows in support of the Group's Treasury requirements for cash flow forecasting.

  • Educated to higher level (degree or equivalent) in Finance or another business-related subject.
  • Be committed to continuing your studies towards professional qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering Cost Control and various types and size of the project.
  • Good IT literacy with an emphasis on proficient/intermediate use of excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and articulately at all levels, demonstrating enhanced analytical skills and effective forward planning.
