Title: Project Engineer Level I

What will you be doing?
- Under guidance from an Engineer Level II or Senior Engineer as appropriate, the Engineer Level I apply installation engineering knowledge to Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline (SURF) projects and offshore operations.
- Support onshore Vessel mobilizations and loadout of equipment.
- Compliance and delivery of project plans aligned with relevant engineering standards.
- Support production of engineering deliverables including calculations, specifications, drawings, sketches, installation task plans, procedures and technical notes.
- Assist with design development in accordance with design codes and engineering practices.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients, subcontractors and third parties.
- Provide engineering support to drawing office and multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to HSSEQ culture and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Professional qualifications – Engineering Degree (Proven experience in a similar role will also be considered)
- Relevant engineering experience (3+ years) in the Subsea Umbilical Riser Flowline (SURF) within the Marine and/or Oil and Gas industry, strong preference to include execution of projects offshore.
- Identification of industry codes, standards and design guidelines.
- Ability to support package engineering and management.
- Demonstrable ability to work within time, schedule and budget constraints.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
- Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role.
- Strong communication in English and teamwork skills. (Required)
- Willingness to travel up to 25% onshore/offshore and complete required offshore training (BOSIET, UKOOA physical).
