Title: Senior Quality Engineer

What will you be doing?
The Quality Advisor provides guidance and advice in regard to the effective management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC), delivering quality management and improvement support to all projects and Functions within the designated area of responsibility.
He/she provides support to the relevant Quality Manager and his/her team in the maintenance and control of processes, procedures, work methods and initiatives in support of the Company's overall Quality strategies.
- Typical daily activities are: Quality risk assessment, documentation review, inspection management including QC budget tracking and resource forecasting, performance monitoring and reporting, interface with internal and external parties for Quality related topics, supporting package/project until close-out with final documentation, supplier performance rating and Lesson Learned process.
- Supporting risk-based audit process and responsible of audit execution (both internal and external).
- Managing non-conformities, facilitate and review root-cause analysis investigation, monitor and contribute to corrective actions process, and verify effective implementation of solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Working in conjunction with Supply Chain Management (at project and category level), Engineering and Operation to assess, manage and develop suppliers’ quality aspects, ensuring that quality requirements are well defined, understood and implemented by suppliers.
- Ensuring the Central Quality function capitalizes from Lessons Learned and provides support to project in accordance with best practices, striving to mitigate risk, promoting repeatability, safety and integrity consistently.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Experience of the subsea, offshore or a related industry.
- Broad depth of Supplier Quality Management knowledge including inspection coordination and NCR management (technical quality capability).
- Good level of general education required, preferably supported by a diploma/degree in Engineering or Quality Management.
- Broad understanding of subsea products, offshore operations or a related industry. Working experience with Titanium StressJoint, flexible linepipe, control umbilicals or subsea ancillary equipments is a plus.
- Willing to travel both domestically/ internationally onshore /offshore up to 30 % of the time.
- Auditor competency, ideally demonstrated by certified lead auditor qualification and experience.
- Experience working in international, fast-paced projects.
