Title: Engineer - Risers, Installation Analyses, and Umbilical

We are looking for an Installation Analysis Engineer to join our team in Paris Global Project Centre office on permanent basis.
The Global Projects Centre (GPC) is Subsea 7's centre of excellence for the execution of its largest projects worldwide. Within the "Risers, Installation Analysis, and Umbilical" (RIAU) department, you will be involved in the tender and/or project activities for either one (or more) of the following subjects
What you will be doing:
- Provide technical support to Rigid Riser Design (SCR/SLWR etc.)
- Provide technical support to Installation Analysis of Flexibles/Umbilicals/Structures
- Technical follow-up of the Riser ancillaries (Flexible Joint, Buoyancy Modules, VIV strakes etc.)
- Develop the studies linked to the dynamic riser system / static jumper system.
- Perform design analysis of dynamic riser with OrcaFlex (Extreme, Fatigue, Interference etc.) and static flexible jumpers (in-place analysis).
- Perform installation analysis of flexibles, umbilical, cables, mooring, subsea structures etc. using OrcaFlex.
- Participate to Continuous Improvement initiative as required.
- Ensure that know-how is transferred within the discipline. Attend to discipline meeting as required.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification
- Relevant experience, preferably in Offshore industry
- Proactively undertake responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to drafting office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, progress reports, bid evaluations, and various 3rd-party submissions.
- Ability to manage your time and workload.
- Ability in working in multicultural group.

- OrcaFlex Analysis
- Subsea riser design
- Offshore experience
Majority of the work is carried out in the regional main office site - Bois-Colombes. Offshore / Off-site location during project Execution phase as required. Working hours according to local regulation and Company's policy
