Title:  Principal Diving Engineer

What will you be doing?

During the project or tender, and in particular during the engineering phase, the Diving Engineer is focal point of contact for Diving activities with other disciplines / department, and he will be responsible for the delivery of engineering document related to Diving activities. His / her function during offshore activities will depend on skills and certifications.

• Contribute to project Engineering reviews on all subjects associated to (or at the interface with), the Diving scope.

• Deliver project specific Diving engineering documents (such as Tie-I Procedure, SIT Procedure for diving activities…).

• Deliver project specific SIT requirements.

• Deliver project specific technical scope of work for Diving services (3rd party).

• Prepare and follow-up of Master Document Register and Subcontractor Document Register within project.

• Review and validate the Diving Project Plan (DPP) in addition to the Diving supplier deliverable.

• Responsible for Technical appraisal and follow-up of sub-contractors

• Deliver specification and requisitions for the design and /or selection of all consumables, tools, installation aids required for the execution of the Diving scope of work.

• Participate and coordinate SIT, specific trials and offshore/onshore operations, as required

• Supervise the implementation, revision, follow up of the overall equipment mobilisation lists.

o With the Client and Third parties. This includes clear definition of responsibilities when activities are planned on-board third party’s vessel or platforms. This includes the identification and reporting to Project Management of any gaps that may impact the correct execution of the scope of work.

o With Other disciplines, operation department. This includes the identification and reporting to Project Management of any gaps that may impact the correct execution of the scope of work.

What experience would we like you to have?

Technical skill in most of the below:

Diving Operation including Diving limitation.

Diving IMCA regulation.

Knowledge on both Air and saturation Diving.

Diving Tooling.

Knowledge in precommissioning.

Large managerial experience in above scope.

Large experience in interface management and process.

Personnel Management

Site / offshore scope management

WORKING CONDITIONS

Majority of the work is carried out in the regional main office site in Bois-Colombes - France

Offshore / Off-site location during project Execution phase as required

Working hours according to local regulation and Company's policy
