Overview

We are looking for a Senior Pre-commissioning Engineer to join our team in Paris Global Project Centre (GPC) office, on permanent basis.

The Pre‑Commissioning Engineer will play a key technical role in supporting tenders and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) activities, providing specialised input on the pre‑commissioning of pipelines and umbilicals for projects delivered from our GPC East office.

 

What you will be doing?

  • Support tender and project delivery by understanding client needs, contract structures, and leading engineering reviews for pre‑commissioning and commissioning scopes.
  • Develop technical solutions, produce key engineering deliverables, and deliver cost‑effective, safe, and innovative approaches.
  • Manage interfaces across engineering disciplines, supply chain, estimating, operations, clients, and third parties; identify and resolve gaps impacting execution.
  • Oversee subcontractor and supplier engagement—from selection and documentation to performance oversight, offshore/onshore coordination, testing, and schedule management.
  • Contribute to tender strategy and project execution through risk/opportunity assessment, commercial inputs, and team leadership of engineers across all phases.

What experience would we like you to have?

  • Engineering degree (or equivalent) with extensive offshore industry experience, including pipeline and umbilical pre‑commissioning and management of large pre‑commissioning work packages.
  • Demonstrated onsite and offshore project experience, with solid understanding of cost drivers, SURF developments, and pre‑commissioning commercial awareness.
  • Broad technical knowledge: subsea valves and connection systems, production/control systems, operability & flow assurance, SURF/SPS pre‑commissioning & commissioning, system completion, SURF installation, scheduling tools, and solid reporting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach and experience working in multi‑discipline, multicultural teams.
  • Organized and skilled at prioritizing, able to perform with minimal oversight under scheduling and budget pressures, consistently produce high-quality deliverables, and mentor less experienced engineers; curious and engage  #LI-AB1

What will you be doing?

RESPONSABILITES

•Comprendre les besoins et les motivations du client(e).
•Contribuer aux revues d'ingénierie des projets/appels d'offres sur tous les sujets liés (ou en interaction avec) le périmètre de pré-mise en service et de mise en service.
•Etre responsable de la proposition technique et de l'évaluation de solutions efficaces et économiques pour les projets/appels d'offres.
•Rechercher et inclure de nouvelles technologies pour améliorer les délais, réduire les coûts et accroître la sécurité.
•Rechercher et développer des solutions internes plutôt que de recourir à la sous-traitance en s’assurant de la rentabilité.
•Assurer la production des livrables, qui peuvent inclure le soutien technique au bureau d'études, les calculs de conception, les spécifications, les procédures, les analyses, les rapports d'avancement, les demandes d'achat, les évaluations d'offres, les rapports d'étude et diverses soumissions à des tiers.
•Sous une supervision limitée, évaluer, organiser et prioriser son travail en toute autonomie professionnelle.
•Être responsable de l'évaluation et du suivi des sous-traitant(e)s.
•Participer aux analyses HAZID/HIRA, aux revues de conception et aux audits fournisseur(euse)s, et formuler des recommandations pertinentes.

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXPÉRIENCE PROFESSIONNELLES

  • Diplôme d'ingénieur(e) ou qualification équivalente, et expérience pertinente dans le secteur offshore.
  • Solide expérience et savoir-faire en matière de pré-mise en service de pipelines et d'ombilicaux.
  • Expérience de la gestion de projets de pré-mise en service d'envergure.
  • Expérience de travail sur site et en mer au sein d'une équipe projet.
  • Connaissance des coûts de pré-mise en service et des facteurs qui les influencent.
  • Connaissance des aspects contractuels et des coûts liés au développement des systèmes SURF, Vannes et systèmes de connexion sous-marins, Systèmes de production et de contrôle sous-marins, Exploitation et assurance d'écoulement, Pré-mise en service et mise en service des systèmes SURF et SPS, Achèvement des systèmes.
  • Installation générale des systèmes SURF.
  • Planification / MS Project.
  • Solides Solides aptitudes rédactionnelles et de reporting

  • Expérience pertinente à un poste similaire.
  • Très bonnes aptitudes au travail en équipe multidisciplinaire et multiculturelle.
  • Capacité à évaluer, organiser et prioriser son travail et celui des autres en gérant efficacement son temps afin de respecter les délais impartis.
  • Capacité à travailler dans le respect des contraintes de temps et de budget, et de délais stricts.
  • Capacité à exprimer ses idées de manière claire et concise.
  • Production d'un travail de qualité irréprochable.
  • Bonnes capacités organisationnelles et méthodes de travail efficaces.
  • Capacité à encadrer et à former des ingénieur(e)s junior.
