Title: Business Commercial and Development Manager

What will you be doing?
- Maintain active and positive relationship with clients, suppliers, competitors and industry partners, aiming the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Liaising with internal functions as Legal, Technology, Engineering, Tendering and Strategy to achieve executable proposals to the strategic opportunities.
- Critically evaluate and recommend new business opportunities and Capex investments, incorporating an adequate shareholder return in the business case.
- Lead the commercial and contractual aspects with clients during pursuit and early engagement phases, influencing the development and improvement of conditions on T&Cs, frame agreements, and other commercial subjects.
- Identify and conduct initiatives for improving and commercializing key non-technical winning solutions with clients (guarantees, cash-flow, taxes, insurances, local content, currency proof, contractual adjustment, contract specs, etc.), enabling and improving the company’s position on future proposals.
- Monitor the development of contractual and commercial aspects on ongoing projects and tenders, identifying risks, opportunities, and improvement points for engagement with clients, influencing live projects’ position and future prospects.
- Support live projects when requested and capture contractual and commercial lessons learned, incorporating into WIN Solutions, tenders and subsequent projects, improving predictable performance.
- Develop commercial and contractual business cases to be presented to the Brazil GPC West Management team, influencing the improvement of the company’s position with clients and partners.
What experience would we like you to have?
• Degree in Administration, Engineering or related activities.
• Previous experience in similar positions within the area.
• Knowledge of the commercial negotiation and business development process.
• Knowledge of the services offered in the area of construction and subsea engineering.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to independently engage high-value clients.
• Fluency in English.
• Extensive previous experience in the O&G commercial area.
• Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline management.
• Experience in activities related to the commercial area and in activities related to underwater engineering.
