Introduction

Are you an experienced Survey professional ready to lead high-performing teams and deliver excellence across complex offshore energy projects?

 

Subsea7 is seeking a Survey Operations Manager to lead our Survey function within the GPC West Brazil region.  Reporting to the Global Survey & Inspection Manager, you will play a key role in supporting subsea construction, SURF and PLSV operations, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality survey service delivery while driving operational performance, innovation and continuous improvement.

A Subsea7 está buscando um Gerente de Operações de Survey para liderar a função de Survey na região GPC West Brazil. Reportando-se ao Gerente Global de Survey & Inspection, você desempenhará um papel fundamental no suporte às operações de construção submarina, SURF e PLSV, garantindo a entrega de serviços de survey de forma segura, eficiente e com alta qualidade, além de impulsionar o desempenho operacional, a inovação e a melhoria contínua.

What will you be doing?

 

  • Lead and develop a team of onshore and offshore survey professionals, fostering a culture of safety, performance and collaboration.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of survey services across regional projects and operations.
  • Manage resource planning, forecasting and workforce utilisation to meet project and business demands.
  • Support tendering activities through review of survey methodologies, costs, equipment and third-party requirements.
  • Oversee budgets, cost control and operational performance to maximise efficiency and value.
  • Build strong relationships with project teams, clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement through technology adoption, innovation and implementation of industry best practices.
  • Champion HSEQ standards, operational excellence and lessons learned across the region

 

  • Liderar e desenvolver uma equipe de profissionais de survey em terra e offshore, promovendo uma cultura de segurança, desempenho e colaboração.
  • Garantir a entrega bem-sucedida dos serviços de survey em projetos e operações da região.
  • Gerenciar o planejamento de recursos, previsões de demanda e alocação da força de trabalho para atender às necessidades dos projetos e da empresa.
  • Apoiar atividades de propostas comerciais por meio da revisão de metodologias de survey, custos, equipamentos e requisitos de terceiros.
  • Supervisionar orçamentos, controle de custos e desempenho operacional para maximizar eficiência e geração de valor.
  • Construir relacionamentos sólidos com equipes de projeto, clientes, fornecedores e demais partes interessadas internas.
  • Promover a melhoria contínua por meio da adoção de tecnologias, inovação e implementação das melhores práticas do setor.
  • Promover os padrões de HSEQ, excelência operacional e compartilhamento de lições aprendidas em toda a região.

What experience would we like you to have?

 

  • Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Hydrography, Engineering, Earth Sciences or related.
  • Significant offshore energy survey experience.
  • Communicates effectively in English.
  • Proven leadership, managing multidisciplinary teams in operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of survey technologies, project delivery, operational risk management and industry best practice.
  • Manages budgets, forecasts, tendering activities and resource optimisation.
  • Can influence stakeholders and build trusted customer relationships.
  • Drives performance improvement, innovation and strategic business initiatives.
  • IT Competent; Microsoft 365.  Power BI, ERP or resource planning systems is advantageous.

  • Formação superior em Topografia, Geomática, Hidrografia, Engenharia, Ciências da Terra ou área relacionada.
  • Experiência significativa em survey offshore na indústria de energia offshore.
  • Experiência comprovada de liderança na gestão de equipes multidisciplinares em ambientes operacionais.
  • Sólido entendimento de tecnologias de survey, execução de projetos, gestão de riscos operacionais e melhores práticas do setor.
  • Experiência na gestão de orçamentos, previsões, processos de licitação/propostas e otimização de recursos.
  • Capacidade demonstrada de influenciar stakeholders e construir relacionamentos de confiança com clientes.
  • Experiência na condução de melhorias de desempenho, inovação e iniciativas estratégicas de negócios.
  • Conhecimento das aplicações do Microsoft 365; experiência com Power BI, ERP ou sistemas de planejamento de recursos será considerada um diferencial.
