We are looking for a motivated and self-driven 3D animator to join our team in Stavanger. You'll have the chance to work on innovative projects in a dynamic subsea environment, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce animations for vessel pipelay, mobile equipment, and operations.
  • Create immersive VR environment animations.
  • Develop subsea field architecture layouts and tie-ins.
  • Design inspection, repair, and maintenance sequences.
  • Plan and animate installation and decommissioning processes.
  • Develop safety awareness and familiarization training materials.
  • Support tenders, studies, and FEEDs with high-quality animations.

 


Experience:

  • Ideally you will have had a University or College creative background in which you have focussed on graphic design / illustration / CGI / multimedia and have a good eye for detail. If you have a desire to work in a stimulating environment, then Subsea7 has the career opportunities available.
  • 2 years working in technical, 3d animations, rendered images and other graphic related work, within a graphic design / illustration company (not necessarily within the offshore industry).


 

Qualifications:

  • College candidates: National Certificates such as: computer animation / game design / digital media or similar.
  • University qualification in Design for Digital Media / 3D Animation or equivalent
     


Skills:

 

Essential:

  • Knowledge of 3DSMax / Cinema 4D / Maya or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills

 

Desirable: 

  • Proficient rigging within 3DS Max.
  • Texturing in 3DS Max
  • Knowledge of technical computer packages such as: Phoenix FD, Unreal, V-Ray
  • Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Virtual and Augmented Reality

 

 

Desirable in a interview:

  • Portfolio of University or College related subject materials or showreel.
