Title:  Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

What will you be doing?

Subsea7 has a great opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at our Wester site, Wick.  The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the buildings and general facilities at the Wester Site are properly managed, well kept and compliant with all relevant legislations. 

 

•    Maintain a safe and secure place of work, and a fit for purpose working environment, including office facilities, building fabrics, access and egress
•    Assist with managing the Facilities budget and creating budget requests as necessary
•    Manage the activities of third party facilities contractors
•    Responsible for conducting/arranging regular maintenance activities and checks (e.g. fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, septic tank emptying, water testing, air-conditioning and fume extraction certification)
•    Offer backup and support to the site management team as required
•    Comply with the company's information and security requirements and all company business procedures, policies and Codes of Conduct
 

What experience would we like you to have?

•    Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in a relevant building trade
•    Knowledge of all relevant building trades
•    Experience of Managing Sub-Contractors
•    Capable of commercial thinking, problem solving
•    Management of time and projects, with ability to be efficient and able to prioritise tasks
•    Experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) desirable but not essential
•    Efficient, self-motivated and able to use initiative
•    Health, Safety and Environmental awareness
